FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We aim to post any questions we receive from customers on this page in order to assist other viewers of our site to solve their queries effectively and efficiently. During our continued website development scheme we will incorporate each of these questions and answers into the main body of our site.


Q. Can you resolve all issues by visiting my house/business?

A. Our engineers aim to resolve all issues as quickly as possible with the highest quality of service. However there may be some instances where an on site fix is not possible. This could be in the event of an 'operating system reinstallation', our engineer may need to take the machine back to our lab and carry out the work there. This may also be required such as in the event of testing internet connections and access internet based resources when a connection is not available at site. This can often be quicker than an onsite installation as our lab carries all of the required professional equipment. In the event of an engineer removing any piece of equipment from you home/business and signed receipt will be given detailing the serial number and description of the item removed. This can also be helpful if you need to go out or close your business for the day.

Q. Do you offer price matching?

A. Yes, we try to go one better and beat any competitor and high street retailers technical support prices. Contact us with the price you have elsewhere, and we will do our best to match or beat it. We will however need to see proof of the price from the third party.

Q. Why do your prices not show VAT or delivery charges?

A. All prices displayed for our products and services include VAT and delivery charges. Please visit our ' Pricing' page for further details.

Q. Are your downloads clean of virus's and spy ware?

A. All of our downloads point to clean reliable external web site's which offers these downloads for free. We would not offer links to these sites if we were not 100% happy with their content. It is however, the responsibility of visitor (You) to have adequate protection on your PC to prevent the intrusion of such.

Q. Do you offer advertising space on your website?

A. Yes, we would be happy to display a company logo and/or link to your company/product or service for a small subscription. Please contact us to discuss you requirements.

Q. Can you visit my house/business when I am not there?

A. No, we require a customer or someone acting on behalf of a customer to be present whilst our engineers are on site.

Q. Can customers visit AC's PC Services in person to get support or purchase things?

A. Unfortunately not, we limit our overheads by simply operating as an online presence in order for us to pass our savings on to you the customer. By doing so we can ensure we keep up to date with the latest technologies and techniques as we have the most competitive prices.
